The Chairs’ summary statement has been finalised, following the closing of the comment period at the end of September. It is available to download here. Key findings from WRF Asia-Pacific will be presented to the next World Resources Forum, 11-14 October 2015 in Davos (Switzerland).



Program Highlights

The World Resources Forum Asia Pacific included presentations from business leaders, government decision-makers and international experts from Japan, Korea, India, US, Europe and across Australia.

These were complemented by interactive workshops, run in partnership with leading organisations including Sustainable Business Australia, WWF, Zero Waste International Alliance, Australian Alliance to Save Energy, CSIRO, Sustainability Victoria and the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage.

The program explored important themes including business models for a circular world, new markets for technology and innovation, green manufacturing, managing E-waste, resource governance and social responsibility. See ‘Presentations’ tab to download available presentations.



Who are we?

The World Resources Forum Asia-Pacific was hosted by the Institute for Sustainable Futures at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and SMaRT@UNSW. The World Resources Forum (WRF) is the global platform for sharing knowledge about the economic, political, social and environmental implications of global resource use.  WRF promotes innovation for resource productivity by building bridges between policymakers, researchers, business leaders, entrepreneurs, NGOs and civil society.
